From the LA Times:
"It's not unusual for shows to make sure they have all the footage they might ever need to cut and paste the story line they want to create because they're creating entertainment. But that is significant in this situation because CBS and the producers are trying to claim that this was not work and was not scripted and the children were not actors."
Apparently some new show called Kids Nation, or as it has been dubbed "Lord of the Fly - 20007", is slated for the fall schedule. My ultimate question is why do we need to watch kids playing this type of reality program. Is it really a good idea to be putting children into this kind of situation? I have this sneaky suspicion that the overwhelming majority of these kids are either wanna be actors or being pushed into this by their stage-mom's (or dad) to get their kids recognized so they can cash in. It is quite sad when all these kids received was a $5000 stipend.
Lets try to get ahead of the curve and start boycotting this crap now.

SML-
Thank you, I take the random comment as a complete compliment. I try not to focus on one particular subject, but rather anything and everything that catches my fancy at any particular point in time.
Thanks for the comment
